Sparky School House Lesson Plans

The NFPA Public Education Division develops easy-to-use educational programs, tools, and resources to meet the needs of all ages and audiences in a variety of languages. This includes lesson plans, safety tip sheets, videos, and web sites, including Sparky School House and Sparky.org. NFPA has also been the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week™ since 1922. This year’s Fire Prevention Week™ (FPW™) campaign, “Cooking safety starts with YOU. Pay attention to fire prevention™,” works to educate everyone about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe when cooking.
