What is Career and Technical Education (CTE)?

This Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest video explains how career and technical education (CTE) classes can allow high school students to prepare for specialized jobs as well as two- or four-year degrees. CTE classes cover a wide range of fields, such as agriculture, computer coding, and manufacturing. Concentrating in a specific field of CTE classes in high school can have a positive impact on a student’s employability and earning potential. Students who are interested in CTE can ask their school counselors for more information.  Dec 7, 2021
