What is a Digital Reputation?

All of the information about you that lives online forms your digital reputation. Pretty much everything you do online—like posting a photo or video, commenting on a post, sharing a meme— are components that combine to create your digital reputation. This doesn’t only include what you post about yourself. Your digital reputation includes what others post about you too! And this information can be searched for by anyone and everyone. Everything you do online remains there, to potentially be seen by large, invisible audiences of strangers. Even people you may never meet in real life.
