Sandra Day O’Connor

Sandra Day O’Connor (born March 26, 1930, El PasoTexas, U.S.), associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1981 to 2006. She was the first woman to serve on the Supreme Court. A moderate conservative, she was known for her dispassionate and meticulously researched opinions.
