Hello Heroes

President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed the Veterans Day Bill in 1954. To honor this important day, the “Hello Heroes” letter writing activity connects students with a World War II veteran. As the 80th anniversary of D-Day approaches, “Hello Heroes” bridges generations.
