Kids all know that Halloween is associated with downright spooky. It is time to draw out the pumpkins and pick a costume. Halloween is derived from Samhain, a Gaelic festival. It was traditional thought to be the celebration that took place at summer’s end in order to protect their crops from bad spirits. Today in American culture, Halloween has been vastly commercialized into a day of trick or treating and celebrating the spirit of children.
