What is digital literacy? We love this definition from Canada’s Media Smarts definition: “A wide variety of ethical, social and reflective practices that are embedded in work, learning, leisure and daily life.” Cyber Civics, our middle school digital literacy curriculum, includes lessons on these three important elements of digital literacy: digital citizenship, information literacy and media literacy.
